TrueMotive

We've been in this problem space since 2020, before "AI" made everyone start caring about who owns their data. Back then we were just trying to solve a stream-routing problem for ourselves — and kept running into the same wall every time: the tools that existed wanted your content to live on their infrastructure, under their terms, with your audience as the thing being monetized.

That's the wrong direction. TrueMotive isn't a clever brand name — it's the actual premise. True intentions, a clear line of sight to what we're building and why: infrastructure that puts the people creating and consuming content back in control of it, instead of renting that control back from a platform.

MediaMesh is what came out of that — a control plane for your streams that runs on infrastructure you own. Not because self-hosting is a purity test, but because data sovereignty isn't optional once you actually think about what's at stake: your content, your audience relationships, your personal information, flowing through systems you don't control and can't fully see inside of.

We're a small team. We've stayed small on purpose — close enough to the problem to keep solving the real one, not the one that's easiest to put a price tag on. Emerging technology shouldn't be gatekept behind whoever can afford the platform tax. Our job is to make the powerful version of this stuff usable by anyone who needs it, not just whoever's big enough to negotiate an enterprise contract.

That's the whole pitch, really: build the infrastructure we'd want to use ourselves, and make sure it's still yours when you're done.
